Video Production Description
Modern Icon Media collaborated with ECAACE and their team members to design this documentary film as part of the 2022 Juneteenth Celebration in Boulder County. Starting with just the idea of “Young Black people interviewing older Black people to share in their wisdom” the idea evolved when we got the opportunity to work with out two guests: Hughes Van Ellis and Ed Dwight. Modern Icon Media was responsible for the creative design and execution of the project on a VERY accelerated timeline to meet the scheduling needs of our guests and our premiere day of Juneteenth weekend. Our team directed, shot, edited, and co-produced the film and it opened on June 18th, 2022 at the Longmont Museum.
