Modern Icon Media’s Community Initiatives

Modern Icon Media strives to be positive force in the community by partnering with and producing for educational, humanitarian, and civil rights organizations to help bring changes that support the people that live in our community. This “leave the world better than you found it” mentality also drove us to take Colorado’s business pledge to do our part in sharing Covid-19 vaccine information, which lead us to working on these short Covid-19 Resources PSA’s entitled “Reasons To Be Vaccinated”.

Video Production Description

Modern Icon Media wanted to make sure we were doing our part in promoting Covid-19 vaccines in our Colorado communities, but we felt like the “we can get back to work/normal” messaging that is so common was lacking motivation for many of our community members. Taking a different approach, we focused on individual-centric reasons why vaccination might be important to a viewer. Yes, it is saying “You’re doing it for grandma”, but it isn’t just for grandma, the message is driven by “You’re doing it for your want to keep grandma around”. Different iterations include Dad, Mom, Children, Grandchildren, Community, and even Myself. Keeping the message simple, close to the viewer’s driving motivations, and eliminating the hallow messaging of “you’re doing this so you can work again”. These 15 second videos were designed to be used as non-skipable video bumper ads targeted to demographics related to the motivating factor displayed.
